Using an intuitive approach means following the flow of a session with all the senses you see, feel and and experience in the body, mind and soul. It’s not psychic in nature whereas I have the answers to your life, but that I have a keen sense to track where you are and pinpoint the road blocks and patterns that you have been holding you back.
This approach indeed helps the session to move with awareness and quickness, but you must willing to do the work, the hard work, to see your life, your beliefs, your behaviors for what they are. To take responsibility for changing your direction and pathways and not expecting others to change instead. If someone pushes back at you, what do you do? How do you handle the message coming in?
We all grew up with traumas in our lives, some way more heinous than others, and each trauma has created a story, a pattern that we carry around with us. In order to live with this story we create coping mechanism of all sorts ie. numbing out, protective strategies to keep people at bay, overcompensating, under compensating, defensiveness, not trusting others will come through for you – so they don’t. There is a myriad of examples and usually these behaviors and ways of thinking are the very things holding us back from our peace, our own happiness and our own potential.
Each trauma has a trigger point, someone says or does something that triggers you into a reaction that is not necessarily true to the situation. You are unable to see, or understand the other persons point of view because you are stuck in the story that was created in your life. Relating to that person on a clear level is impossible.
You know something is wrong, but your reaction to protect yourself is far greater than asking questions, or saying what is really going on. The key is: do you know what is really going on? And when you find out, will you be willing to transform it?
You think of yourself as a human searching for a spiritual awakening, when in fact you are a spiritual being attempting to cope with a human awakening. Seeing yourself from a perspective of the spirit within will help you to remember why you came here and what you came here to do.
